Zhengzhou | Four Que Gates of Songshan Mountain, Dengfeng Qimu Que and Chongfu Palace.

The last stop in Dengfeng was Qimu Que, which, like the previously introduced Shaoshi Que, is one of the Four Que Gates of Songshan Mountain. Chongfu Palace and Qimu Que share a combined ticket, and both are national key cultural relics protection units. Qimu Que was first built in the second year of the Yanguang reign of the Eastern Han Dynasty as the spirit way gate of the Qimu Temple. The images on the gate are rich in content, with famous ones including the "Cuju" (ancient Chinese football) and "Hunting" pictures. Inscribed on the gate are the seal script "Qimu Que Inscription" and the Eastern Han official script "Pray for Rain Inscription." Climbing the stairs behind the temple leads to the Qimu Stone, and there are also small paths to climb Mount Songshan. Chongfu Palace was originally built in the first year of the Yuanfeng reign of the Western Han Dynasty as the Wansui Pavilion and Wansui Taoist Temple. It was renamed Chongfu Palace during the reign of Emperor Zhenzong of the Northern Song Dynasty. After the Jin army invaded the south, it was burned down and was repaired many times during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The existing scale is not very large, with few ancient architectural remains, but some stone tablets remain. Qimu Que and Chongfu Temple are combined ticket attractions, costing 50 yuan. They are not far from the city center, and the tour takes about 1 hour.
