Skagen is a hidden gem in Denmark that you can’t miss. If you have some free time in Denmark, you can choose to take a train there! This is the northernmost tip of Denmark, where two major seas meet, with spectacular sand dunes and beautiful beaches. From Copenhagen, you can take a train to Aarhus (Aalborg) and then take a bus to Skåne. The whole journey takes about 4 hours. In Skåne, must-see attractions are the Skagen Lighthouse and Grenen Beach, where you can witness the confluence of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea. Don’t forget to try the local fresh seafood, especially the Skene crab meat, to make your trip more perfect.
