Slow Mornings in Desaru’s Hidden Café

#tesaruonbudget One of the nicest surprises during my Desaru trip was stumbling upon this calm, minimalist café. It looked like something out of a wellness retreat — wooden chairs, soft-toned walls, little touches of greenery and even a small indoor rock garden by the window. The whole space gave off a relaxing energy. I went alone that morning, and I was so glad I did. It felt like a much-needed break from the noise and rush. I ordered a hot black coffee, no sugar or milk — just how I like it. The coffee was smooth and aromatic, perfect to sip slowly while soaking in the quiet. What made the experience even better was how peaceful the environment was. There were a few handmade lifestyle items and skincare displayed near the counter too, adding a warm, homey touch. It wasn’t a big or fancy café, but I think that’s what made it so special. Sometimes, it’s the smaller places that give you the biggest comfort — and this one did just that, all while keeping within budget.
