In order to ensure the smooth progress of oil field exploration and development, Shengli Oilfield began to build seawall projects in the 1970s. By the end of 1990, a total of 117.28 kilometers of seawalls had been built and 88.3 square kilometers of land had been reclaimed from the sea. Today, the Gudong Seawall has become an important protective barrier and tourist attraction for Shengli Oilfield. The construction of the Gudong seawall is to ensure the smooth progress of local oil field exploration and development. After years of construction, the Gudong seawall has not only accelerated the development and construction of beach oil fields, facilitated transportation, and improved the oil field environment, but also become a beautiful landscape in the Yellow River Delta. 📍Location: Navigation Gudong Seawall, 10 kilometers east of Kendong Office, Kenli District, Dongying City. 🚗Transportation: It is recommended to drive yourself because it is far from the city. The nearest hotel we stayed in is 30 minutes drive away. Along the way are a large number of wind turbines and oil drilling rigs. You will pass a checkpoint which is guarded and will open at about four o'clock. ⏰ Time: The sunrise time is different every day. It is recommended to check the sunrise time on Baidu one day in advance. 🔆Nearby: It is very close to the bathing beach at the mouth of the Yellow River. After watching the sunrise, you can take a boat to see the mandarin duck pot spectacle at the mouth of the Yellow River (the penultimate picture is it). 🌟Tips: 1️⃣ The scenery you see and the photos you take are different in different seasons and time periods. Choose the appropriate arrival time according to your preferences. 2️⃣ I personally recommend going in the afternoon when the tide is high, so you can take good pictures of the waves hitting the seawall. However, due to the high tide, the sea water will cover part of the scenery, and the wind is strong and cold. 3️⃣The place is not very big, but it can produce photos, and the effect will be better through post-production. 4️⃣If you look closely, you will see that the water colors on both sides of the seawall are different, one side is bluer and the other side is greener. 5️⃣Except for the problem of "far", everything else is fine. 6️⃣ Worth a visit!
