Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is one of the most iconic hotels in Dubai. Known for its unique sail-shaped design, the hotel offers a range of extraordinary suites and restaurants, including the Michelin-starred Al Muntaha, an award-winning spa, and the Sal Beach Club. The hotel opened in 1999 and is located in the Gulf of Dubai, UAE. Its design was inspired by the dream of the Crown Prince of Dubai, who wanted to create a landmark like the Sydney Opera House or the Eiffel Tower. Ultimately, the design concept of Tom Wright, a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, won out, and his sail-shaped hotel became a symbol of Dubai. The Burj Al Arab has 202 rooms, all of which are two-story suites with a minimum area of 170 square meters. The rooms are luxuriously decorated, with opulent lobbies, atriums, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Even the details, such as door handles, faucets, and ashtrays, are gold-plated. In addition, the interior decoration of the hotel incorporates the four elements of the desert: water, fire, earth, and wind, and was completed by several designers and furniture companies. As for the cost of accommodation, the price of the Burj Al Arab varies depending on the room type and season. During the low season (June to August), the price of the most basic room type is around RMB 7,000, while during the peak season (September to May), it ranges from RMB 9,000 to RMB 13,000. Standard rooms start at USD 2,000 and can go up to USD 6,000; suites start at USD 8,000 and can go up to USD 25,000; and presidential suites are even more expensive.
