Before visiting Dubai, I beg you to avoid these legal minefields🕳️ - minor offenses may lead to fines or imprisonment, while serious ones could get you deported! Quickly save this "survival guide" to stay safe and save money! 🚫 Never take photos without permission Don't photograph locals without consent, especially women! At best you'll get a warning, but worst case could mean huge fines (up to 500,000 AED) and jail time! Check for no-photo signs before snapping pictures at attractions, and never take out your phone in mosque no-photo zones! 🚫 No public drinking Control your alcohol cravings! Public drinking is illegal - if caught, you could be fined 2,000-5,000 AED or even jailed. Alcohol is only allowed in licensed hotels and restaurants! 🚫 Never drink and drive The UAE has zero tolerance for drunk driving! If you've consumed any alcohol, don't drive yourself. Getting caught could mean massive fines, license revocation, jail time or deportation. 🚫 Don't be that person during Ramadan daytimes No eating or drinking in public from sunrise to sunset.
