It now hosts the inauguration of the presidents of Ireland alongside other state events. The history is fascinating and intriguing. Yes, you must drink Guinness whilst in Dublin. Yes, you need to pay a visit to Temple Bar whilst in Dublin. But it is vital that you immerse yourself in the history of Ireland and the Irish people whilst in Dublin.
