Edinburgh's Winter Exclusive Christmas Market is a Must-Visit!

The 2023 Edinburgh Christmas Market has officially begun, running from 10am to 10pm with no entrance fee (note that rides close about half an hour earlier). The market is quite large, featuring many stalls selling Christmas-themed items, although there aren't many amusement rides. The Ferris wheel and swings usually don't have long queues, especially if you avoid Saturdays when it's busiest. The high-altitude swing is quite interesting! Despite the steep price of £14, it offers a close-up view of the nearby monument. It's a bit scary but manageable, and you can even record videos on your phone. Mulled wine is priced at £7 and hot chocolate at £5, though they aren't as good as those in London. Roasted chestnuts are £7 for a small portion and are quite nice! I think it's definitely worth a visit. The Christmas atmosphere in Edinburgh is truly wonderful. The spot with the 'Edinburgh' sign is located in the East Princes Street Gardens below the market, and I recommend taking a stroll there. #Christmas #Edinburgh #UKLife
