(Insanely fast🚄) • Wide seats, comfortable during the journey✨ • The scenery is amazing! You can enjoy the countryside and seaside scenery along the way ❌ Disadvantages • Expensive tickets! If you buy at the last minute, it can cost over £100...💸 • It's easy to get fully booked during peak times (early reservations are essential) 🚌 Cheap! FlixBus night bus (my choice) 💡 Duration: about 9 hours (night departure → morning arrival) 💰 Price: £10-£30 (super cheap!) 🚌 Departure point: London Victoria Coach Station ✅ Advantages • Super cheap! You can get there for just £10! • It's a night bus, so you can sleep on the way💤 → Save on accommodation costs too! • You'll arrive in the morning, so you can fully enjoy sightseeing in Edinburgh✨ ❌ Disadvantages • A long 9-hour journey...💀 (no problem if you can sleep) • The seat space is small (get on early to get a good seat!) • There are few toilet breaks (best to do it before boarding) 💡 Impressions after actually riding I chose the FlixBus night bus, and it was more comfortable than I expected! • There's a reclining chair! → It was easy to sleep💤 • The inside of the bus is quiet, so if you bring a sleeping bag or eye mask, you can sleep soundly • Arrived in Edinburgh at 6-7am! Start sightseeing right away✨ 🚖 Other options: Plane (1 hour 30 minutes flight) 💡 Travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes (plus travel time to the airport) 💰 Price: £20-£80 (cheaper if you book early!) ✈️ Departure airport: London Heathrow/Gatwick ✅ Pros • Flight time is only 1.5 hours! • If you book early, it can be cheaper than the train! ❌ Cons • Traveling to the airport is a hassle (check-in, security, etc.) • LCCs (low-cost carriers) have strict baggage restrictions 🎯 Conclusion: Night buses are the best value for money! 🚆 If you want to get there quickly, take the train (£50-£150) 🚌 If you want to get there on the cheap, take the FlixBus night bus (£10-£30) ✈️ If you have time, a plane is a good option (from £20) 💡 I took the FlixBus to Edinburgh, sleeping comfortably, and enjoyed sightseeing from the morning!
