Switzerland's stunning glacier wonders, awarded "World Natural Heritage".

In mid-September, I revisited Valais, Switzerland. The beautiful and magnificent scenery of Valais was still pleasing to my eyes and made my heart surging. 🇨🇭Valais is the third largest state in Switzerland, bordering France and Italy. More than half of the more than 80 majestic peaks over 4,000 meters in the Alps are located in Valais. The natural scenery is beautiful and it is a charming holiday paradise in Switzerland. ✈️Take Hainan Airlines, fly directly from Shenzhen to Milan, Italy, and then take a bus for more than two hours, we arrived at the first stop of this trip to Valais, Switzerland-Aletsch Glacier Area (Aletsch Arena). 🌍The Aletsch Glacier in southern Switzerland extends from the north slope of Eiger, Monk and Jungfrau to Valais. It was 23 kilometers long and is the largest and longest glacier in Europe. 🧊The Aletsch Glacier is uniquely shaped and magnificent. The unique U-shaped arc shows the magic of nature. It looks like a white jade belt hanging between the mountains, winding and winding, vast and magnificent, and was awarded the "World Natural Heritage". 🌞However, it is a pity that with global warming, the Aletsch Glacier is quietly and irreversibly melting every moment. It is said that the length has now been reduced to 20 kilometers, which is regrettable. According to scientists' calculations, the glacier will even disappear completely by the end of this century. Friends who want to go must hurry up. 📷The Aletsch Glacier has three viewing platforms: Eggishorn, Bettmerhorn and Moosfluh. The three small towns of Fiescheralp, Bettmeralp and Riederalp all have cable cars that can go up to the viewing platform to enjoy the scenery. 🏔️The scenery of these three viewing platforms is very open and beautiful. Tourists can clearly see the location between the viewing platform and the glacier on the map. If you only enjoy the scenery, I recommend the highest Eggishorn viewing platform among the three. This angle can overlook the U-shaped glacier and the scenery of the European famous peaks such as Matterhorn, Jungfrau and Eiger. 🐑This time, we only visited the Moosfluh viewing platform and the Bettmerhorn viewing platform. The scenery was very beautiful. Especially at the Bettmerhorn viewing platform, in addition to seeing the U-shaped glacier, we also encountered the black-faced sheep, a specialty of Valais, and the interesting scene of leisurely walking on the mountain. 🏨For the Aletsch Glacier tour, we chose to stay in the small town of Bettmeralp. After coming down from the Moosfluh viewing platform that day, we chose a 2.5-kilometer mountain hike, with picturesque scenery all the way. After coming down, we stayed at the Bettmer Alpi Hotel (Hotel Alpfrieden), a Swiss mountain chalet-style hotel, which is not large but warm and comfortable. You can see the sunset and sunrise from the balcony of the guest room.
