My stay at Hoshinoya Fuji was a combination of natural beauty and minimalist design. The hotel is located at the foot of Mount Fuji, and the minimalist concrete private cabins blend in with the natural surroundings, allowing you to enjoy the magnificent view of Mount Fuji during the day 🌅 and at night 🎑. Especially during the maple leaf season, the entire environment is like a beautiful painting, and you can take amazing photos 📷 anywhere. If you stay in winter, the experience will be full of a strong seasonal atmosphere. Drinking hot mulled wine 🍷 in the snow, curling up in the kotatsu on the balcony at night, listening to the crackling of the fire, these are all warm and enjoyable experiences in winter. The forest trail 🚶 in the early morning is quiet and beautiful, and hot milk tea and roasted marshmallows are prepared for you at the end, making you feel comfortable. In addition to the above activities, the hotel offers a variety of experiences every day, such as chopping wood 🪵, bonfires 🔥, boating, and music performances. Even if you don't leave the hotel, you can have a fulfilling time. But speaking of the disadvantages, for older guests 😭, the design of the hotel may be inconvenient, especially there are many steps to the activity area and the restaurant, and it feels a bit strenuous every time you go to eat. 😭 As for transportation, it is an 8-minute walk from the Kawaguchiko Bus 🚌 Terminal to the hotel. The hotel does not provide a shuttle bus.
