In the season of full bloom of spring, we went to Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine, said to be the oldest shrine on Mt. Fuji. The Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms blooming on the approach to the shrine create a soft pink arch, and just walking along it feels like your heart is melting. The combination of Mt. Fuji and cherry blossoms seen through the torii gate was a magnificent sight that symbolizes spring in Japan. Surrounded by the quiet air, gazing at the petals dancing in the wind, you feel the hustle and bustle of everyday life suddenly fade away. Every moment was precious, and it was a place that made me want to come back again. There were few people, so it was a truly hidden spot.
