We came as a group of three on the weekend. We walked 10 minutes from the Kawaguchiko parking lot to the cable car station to buy tickets (1163-1 Asakawa, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture). Each cable car carries about 15 people and comes and goes frequently, so even if there are more people on weekends, you only have to queue for a while. Then the staff will ask you to put down your carry-on luggage, fasten your seat belt for you, and take photos and videos for you with your mobile phone. The specialists are very skilled and the videos they took are very professional, it's worth the 1000 yen! If you are in a hurry to buy souvenirs, you can go to Kawaguchiko Natural Living Museum. The price will be more affordable than this souvenir shop, and you don’t have to hold the gifts all the time. Such beautiful natural scenery of the world cultural heritage can leave you with rich and deep memories even if you only stay here for a few hours☺️.
