Enoshima Day Trip

#getgoing2025 Just an hour's train ride from Shinjuku to Fujisawa and then transfer to Enoden for another half-hour train ride, and you will arrive at a small station called Enoshima Station. If you are a fan of Japanese movies and doramas, you might recognize this place because it’s the filming location of many popular movies and doramas. As you step out from the Enoshima Station, you will instantly feel like become the main character of your own dorama. I walked along the bridge with the fresh sea breeze in my face, then explored the island’s shrine and caves. It was so relaxing taking a stroll to the garden which is located uphill while trying some of their local delicacies. I especially enjoyed exploring its observatory tower where you can see the city from a distance. The view of the ocean from there was breathtaking. Enoshima is small but full of surprises.
