Fukuoka Christmas Market✨

This was my first time in Fukuoka in winter, and it was the most satisfying trip of the year! I will introduce four of the most representative Christmas market places. 1. Hakata Station - As soon as you leave Hakata Station, you can see a large Christmas tree and Christmas market. If you go at the right time in the evening, there are performances and various events for children. There is also a tasting area where you can eat warm bangsho, hot chocolate, and churros. 2. Canal City - You can enjoy the fountain show, a famous attraction of Canal City, with a Christmas feel. The fountain comes out to the beat of famous carols, and the red/green lights give it a Christmas feel. Also, Canal City is lit up with yellow lights all over, so it is really pretty when you visit at night :) 3. Nakasu River - Christmas sculptures are installed along the famous Nakasu food stall street. The trees are lit up with blue lights, the bridge is decorated with yellow decorations, and there is a large tree as the background, so it is great for taking pictures. 4. Tenjin - Between the Kibinkan and Tenjin Park, a really gorgeous Christmas market was set up, and I personally thought this was the prettiest. In front of the Kibinkan, you can also watch a festival held by a local community group. Club students dance a group dance, and civic groups sing carols.
