Jingdezhen is a must-visit ancient town.

Yaoli Ancient Town was built in the late Western Han dynasty. It was originally called "Yaoli" because it was the birthplace of Jingdezhen ceramics. Yaoli Ancient Town has well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty buildings, including Ming and Qing dynasty commercial streets, ancestral halls, Jinshi Di, Dafu Di, Hanlin Di, old houses, and Shigang Shenglan. The ancient town also has many revolutionary historical sites, such as the former residence of Chen Yi. The architecture of the ancient town incorporates Gan, Hakka, and Western architectural styles, with distinct southern Chinese characteristics. The ancient town does not require a ticket, but the former residence of Chen Yi and other attractions do.
