Located on the eastern foot of Wushan, this octagonal seven-story pagoda stands 35 meters tall and was built using the corbel method. Each story's wall features reliefs or stone carvings, with a total of 46 Buddha statues carved, holding high historical, cultural, and architectural value. Wu Pagoda was first built in 799 AD during the fifteenth year of Zhenyuan in the Tang Dynasty, boasting a history of over a thousand years. Facing the White Pagoda on Yushan, it is known as one of the "Twin Pagodas of Rongcheng." 2️⃣ Daoshan Pavilion. This pavilion was built by Cheng Shimeng, the governor of Fuzhou during the Song Dynasty, who invited Zeng Gong, one of the Eight Great Prose Masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties, to write "Record of Daoshan Pavilion," describing the beautiful scenery of Wushan and the local customs of Fuzhou. Surrounded by ancient trees, Daoshan Pavilion offers a tranquil environment and is a must-see attraction when visiting Wushan. There are also over 200 cliff carvings left by ancient people on the mountain, featuring various calligraphy styles. 3️⃣ Li Gongyan. The cliffs here are steep, resembling a masterpiece of nature. The cliff walls are covered with cliff carvings, each stroke showcasing the talent and emotions of the literati. 4️⃣ The Min-style architecture on Wushi Mountain is unique, with horse-head walls, swallowtails, and upturned eaves, each detail highlighting the aesthetic charm, allowing visitors to appreciate the unique charm of traditional architecture. 5️⃣ Ancient banyan trees are lush and green, with birds singing and flowers fragrant.
