NZ Mt Cook Red Tarns

There are many trails on Mount Cook. Red Tarns is the trail down the mountain. The open scenery along the way is refreshing. It is obviously different from the way you go into the mountains at Kea Point and Hooker Valley. This is the lower reaches of the glacier, and many gravels can be seen in the melted river channel. #SouthIsland #MountCook #NewZealand
