A Culinary Adventure at Dorun-gye in Gangnam

Located in the heart of Gangnam, Dorun-gye is a casual restaurant with a lively and cheerful atmosphere, just as its name suggests. The menu is filled with a variety of dishes perfect for pairing with drinks, making it an ideal spot for a light and enjoyable evening. The dishes we ordered included Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken, Thai-style Dish, Soupy Tteokbokki, and Cheongyang Chili Cream Pasta. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the food. The Old-Fashioned Fried Chicken was crispy and savory, making it a perfect starter. The Soupy Tteokbokki had a sweet and mild broth that paired well with the chewy rice cakes. The Thai-style Dish had a strong Southeast Asian vibe due to the inclusion of cilantro. If you're not a fan of cilantro, it might be a good idea to ask for it to be omitted. The dish had a unique blend of spices that gave it an exotic charm. The Cheongyang Chili Cream Pasta was creamy yet had a spicy kick from the Cheongyang chili, making it a great choice for those who enjoy a bit of heat. The restaurant's lively and casual atmosphere makes it a great place to enjoy a meal and chat with friends. Each dish has its own distinct character, and I’m already looking forward to visiting again.
