I woke up in the morning, had breakfast at the hotel, and went out to Gyeongpodae today. When I went out around lunchtime, there were already many people playing in the ocean at Gyeongpodae. We quickly settled in, unpacked, put on sunscreen, rented a tube, and went out to the ocean. I was worried that the ocean water would be cold, but it was over 30 degrees in the middle of summer, so it felt cooler to play in the ocean than in the shade. After playing in the ocean, we went to the main branch of the famous Terrerosa Coffee Factory in Gangneung in the afternoon! I had been to a branch before, so I wanted to visit the main branch even more, but it was bigger and better decorated than I had expected and imagined, so I thought it was a good choice. It was a renovated factory, so it was quite large, but there were so many people that it was a bit chaotic, but if you come to Gangneung, I recommend stopping by the main branch of Terrerosa Coffee Factory.

We arrived at Gangneung Station in about 2 hours by taking the KTX from Seoul Station. Gangneung, which has become a hot place since the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, was greeted by Olympic characters Soohorang and Bandabi, living up to its reputation. We ate Jjamppong Sundubu, which is a must-eat when visiting Gangneung, and moved on to see the clear blue East Sea. In Gangneung, you can enjoy the wide open sea with your body, and enjoy the sea with your eyes once more while leisurely enjoying a cup of coffee at the cafe street that stretches along the coastal road.
