Hand drip cafe with a great view of the ocean, Gangneung Shellis

When I go to Gangneung, my must-do list is Eating Chodang Sundubu at Chodang Village. Walking along the Gyeongpo Lake trail. Enjoying raw fish at Gangneung Central Market. And I always drink hand-drip coffee at a cafe with a nice view. I happened to visit a coffee fair in Gangneung, which is famous for its coffee, and the first barista in Korea moved to Gangneung, and word of mouth spread about Gangneung having good coffee. I don't know the taste of coffee as well as wine, but when I get carried away by the atmosphere or get lost in the sentiment, I always make Gangneung coffee one of my must-dos. The cafe Shellis that I visited on my recent trip to Gangneung is a hot place that opened quite a while ago. It faces the ocean along Gangneung Sacheon Beach, so it's a great cafe where you can enjoy good coffee, but also get lost in the sentiment while looking at the crashing ocean. ​ There aren't many places to park, so it might be difficult to park during peak season. (You can park about 3 cars in front of the cafe) I didn't really plan on posting this on the blog, but I thought the photos turned out well, so I did. So unfortunately, there aren't many photos of the menu or the interior. And after posting, I'm embarrassed because there aren't as many photos as I thought. ㅋㅋ ​ To briefly write a review of my visit, it was a nice cafe with a small but relaxed atmosphere. The signature dessert here is white chocolate tiramisu, and underneath the raspberries, cheese and chocolate tiramisu are laid out, so you can scoop it up with a teaspoon. ​ The price is 15,000 won, which is quite expensive.. But it seems like a good place to buy something to drink at a cafe to change your mood ​ The coffee is called Shelly Blend, so I ordered hand drip coffee using strong roasted coffee - heavily roasted coffee. The roasted coffee taste was not as strong as I thought, but I was satisfied because I could feel the body and acidity without being boring. There was a walkway and shade in front of the cafe where you can walk along the beach, so I could drink coffee and take a break. I went on a quiet Monday, and there weren't many people, so I had some free time, so I slowly drank coffee, took a walk on the beach, and I think I finished my trip to Gangneung well.
