Genoa is where pesto sauce was first invented, so you must try pesto pasta when you come to Genoa. I had gnocchi al pesto and it was really delicious. And I could look down on the whole view of Genoa from the free observation deck, and it was fun to wander around the alleys! It's a travel destination where you can enjoy the atmosphere of Italy even if there's nothing special.
