At that time, Chinese immigrants who moved to Penang built floating houses to work in the port and trade. Tan Jetty is the jetty where the Tan clan belongs, and a community was formed for each family. Wooden houses are built on piles above the sea, creating a unique landscape. Currently, some parts are open to tourists, so you can see traditional life and culture!
