Stop by Kornmarkt Square before heading to Heidelberg Castle

The Palais Prinz Carl, located in Kornmarkt Square, is currently used for city hall weddings and classical music performances. The hall with the large mirror is incredibly beautiful, resembling a scene straight out of a movie. In the past, even the poet Goethe and Empress Elisabeth 'Sissi' visited this place. If you're a history enthusiast, this is a must-visit spot. You can also see the nearby fountain and the statue of the Virgin Mary. Since it's right at the entrance to the path leading up to Heidelberg Castle, I highly recommend stopping by before heading up.
