Sampo Beach, a relatively quiet New Year’s Eve spot

#WinterTravel The eventful year of 2022 is almost over. With the new year just a few days away, many of you must be looking for places to celebrate the new year. For those who are having a hard time leaving because there are so many people everywhere, I’d like to introduce you to a somewhat quiet sunrise spot. It’s Sampo Beach in Gosung, Gangwon-do. I went to a quiet place with same-day reservations when I left last year for the new year. ‘Ocean Two You Resort Sokcho Seorakbi Hotel & Condo’ that I was able to reserve on the 31st when I went to Gangwon-do. It was a place where I could make a reservation even though it was the end of the year and the same day, and it was a place where I could make a reservation at a relatively low price. You can even watch the sunrise right from the rooftop of the resort or from your room (ocean view), and you can leisurely watch the sunrise by going to Sampo Beach right in front. (However, this hotel had a bit of a shortage of parking space, so it wasn't easy.) And most of all, since it's the northernmost part of Gangwon Province, Korea, there was a lot of snow, and it had a great view where you could see the true face of the winter sea. Every year, I look for a relatively quiet sunrise spot, and as the years go by, the spots I find become more famous!
