#summervacay Among the three classic day trips — Königssee, Neuschwanstein Castle, and Eibsee — I finally chose: 👉 Eibsee! It’s literally a super beginner-friendly hiking route 🥹💪 — perfect for all ages, from kids to grandparents! 👶👵👴 If you’ve got more time, you can even combine it with a visit to Zugspitze (Germany’s highest peak)! 🏔️🚠 🛤️ Long route: A full loop around the lake is about 7.8km with minimal elevation gain. Takes around 3 hours to complete. 📍Hot photo spot at the heart island (P1) is in the northwest corner! As a committed “hardcore traveler,” I walked the entire loop because “since I'm here, might as well go all the way!” 😤🚶♀️ There’s a paddle board rental shop and boating activities at the starting point too! 🛶☀️ 🚆 Transport tips: You can use the €49 monthly ticket for the whole journey! First, take RB6 from Munich main station to Garmisch-Partenkirchen After exiting the station, head to the left side of the road and hop on bus 9840 Get off at Eibsee Bushalt (the final stop), and boom — you're right by the lake!
