Naxos – A Hidden Gem of the Cyclades

#greekislandhopping Naxos surprised me in the best way. It’s less touristy than Santorini or Mykonos but just as beautiful. I spent my time exploring mountain villages like Halki and soaking in the calm of Agios Prokopios beach. The island is also rich in history — the Portara (Temple of Apollo ruins) at sunset was unforgettable. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Greece — local cheese, roast lamb, and fresh olive oil. What makes Naxos special is its blend of beaches, culture, and authenticity. It’s the perfect island to relax without the crowds.
