A Vibrant City: Guanajuato

Guanajuato is a Mexican city registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When arriving by bus, you'll find the terminal is quite far from the city center, so you'll likely need to use a taxi or Uber. The city is moderately large but can be explored on foot. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and cafes open from daytime. At the Mercado (market), you can purchase everything from meals to souvenirs. If you go to a slightly elevated area, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the colorful city.
