Guangzhou in February left me with mixed impressions. On one hand, the city is a major economic hub with impressive skyscrapers, efficient public transport, and a dynamic urban atmosphere. The Canton Tower at night was a highlight, offering stunning views of the skyline. However, despite its modernity, I felt that Guangzhou lacked the charm and character of other Chinese cities. The food scene is diverse, but some local specialties didn’t appeal to me. The weather was mild, which made exploring comfortable, yet overall, the city didn’t leave a strong desire to return.
