#Impromptu Guildford Day Trip #Unexpected Harvest #tulips 🌷 Just went to Guildford to visit friends during the holidays. Guildford is located in Surrey, southwest of London. The place feels quite prosperous, with a large two-storey shopping mall and multi-storey parking, and plenty of different types of restaurants to choose from. Guildford also has a Castle, the city center parking lot only takes 1 minute walk😂. I was planning to see Castle and accidentally caught the tail of the tulip season🌷🥰. Although most are ready to wither, a handful are still intact, and they also come across purple-black varieties, which are rare! After viewing the Castle, walk a little further to see the Millmead Lock canal. You can feed ducks and take a boat 🚤 (later I found a boat ticket available on the official website of National Trust online). Although we did not cross the river by boat, unexpectedly there was a special section where the canal gate needed to be opened when the boat was docked back to Dapdune Wharf.
