History of Tibetan Pagoda King - Palkor Monastery

Baiju Temple was first built during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1418) with the financial support of Raodan Gunsangpa, the then Dharma King of Gyantse. Palkor Monastery is an inclusive temple that brings together the Sakya, Gelug and Shalu sects. Together with the Potala Palace, it is known as the Snowland Art Treasure House. The Baiju Stupa has a total of 9 floors and octagonal tower, which is a typical Nepalese architectural style. The four sides of the tower are painted with "Mahayana Eye", which symbolizes "boundless Buddhist wisdom". There are 77 Buddhist halls in Baiju Pagoda, each of which is painted with exquisite murals, "there is a temple in the pagoda, and a pagoda in the temple". The temple and pagoda are natural and unique treasures in the history of Chinese architecture! Because it has 108 doors, it is also called the "Auspicious Multi-Door Pagoda".
