Chiljangsan Summit

#summervacay Took on Chiljangsan Mountain and let me tell you, this one’s a sleeper hit. It starts off like a casual forest hike, but don’t be fooled... the incline will sneak up on you. It’s not brutal, but it definitely made me rethink my fitness level. That said, the trail is gorgeous. Like, shady trees, quiet paths, and that fresh mountain air that makes you forget about your phone for a second. Reaching the summit? Totally worth it. The view is wild, layers of hills fading into the distance, a little mist in the air, and that satisfying feeling of “yep, I made it.” There’s a small rest area up top too, perfect for plopping down, catching your breath, and munching on whatever snack you were smart enough to pack (I was not). Didn’t see too many people, which honestly made it feel kinda special, like a private nature escape. If you’re into peaceful climbs with solid payoffs, Chiljangsan is a win. Bring water, good shoes, and maybe a friend to complain with. Totally recommend.
