City Break with a View

#summervacay Snuck away to Surisan Mountain for a quick hike, and it totally delivered. It’s one of those mountains that’s super easy to get to from the city, but still feels like a full-on nature escape. Perfect when you’re low on time but still wanna get your legs moving. The trail I took started from the Sanbon area, nice and convenient, and wound through some really peaceful forest. Lots of shade, birds doing their thing, and that earthy forest smell that just clears your head. There are a few steep bits, but nothing too wild. It’s beginner-friendly but still enough of a climb to make your snack at the top feel earned. Once you hit the ridge, views! You get this awesome lookout over the surrounding city and mountains. I chilled up there for a while with some gimbap and Pocari Sweat, just soaking it all in. Surisan’s not super flashy, but it’s got good vibes, fresh air, and easy access. Would totally do it again.
