Chillin' at Jikjisa in Gimcheon

#summervacay Took a slow stroll around Jikjisa Temple in Gimcheon and honestly, it was the kind of peaceful I didn’t know I needed. You start off walking this tree-lined path with little shops and street food spots, super laid-back, not crowded at all. I grabbed some hotteok (obviously) and just kept wandering. The temple itself is tucked right into the mountains at 216 Unsuri, and it’s stunning. Classic temple vibes, colorful rooftops, calm courtyards, and those little lanterns everywhere. It’s got this quiet energy that just makes you want to slow down and breathe deeper. Also, the sound of running water from the nearby stream? Instant mood-lifter. Even if you're not super into temples, the walk alone is worth it. Lots of space, fresh mountain air, and just enough uphill to feel like you're doing something without breaking a sweat. Bring comfy shoes, maybe a snack, and just vibe. Jikjisa’s the perfect combo of nature, culture, and chill. Would totally go again.
