#summervacay Finally hit up Geumobong, and it was such a cool mix of nature and history. The trail starts out super calm, winding through these quiet forest paths that feel straight out of a painting. You get this peaceful vibe right away, lots of trees, birds, and random ancient stone carvings and Buddha statues just chilling along the way like no big deal. It gets a bit steeper as you head toward Geumobong peak, but nothing too brutal. Honestly, you’ll want to stop often anyway just to take in the views and explore the old temple ruins. It's like hiking through a museum with a killer backdrop. At the top, you’re treated to a sweet panoramic view of Gyeongju’s hills and valleys, super worth the climb. Not crowded either, which made it feel even more special. If you’re into hiking and ancient vibes, this trail’s got both in spades, Geumobong totally delivered!
