Guryongsan & Gwanryongsan Tag-Team Hike in Gyeongsangnam-do

#summervacay Decided to hit up both Guryongsan and Gwanryongsan in one go down, best decision ever. These two are like the chill cousins of the bigger Korean peaks: not too crowded, not too intense, but still super rewarding. Started at Guryongsan, which had peaceful forest trails and a few rocky spots to spice things up. It’s the kind of mountain where you can hear every leaf crunch and bird call. Super therapeutic. After that warm-up, I made my way over to Gwanryongsan, slightly steeper but nothing too crazy. The trail between the two had awesome ridge views, with little pagodas and rest spots to catch your breath. The summit of Gwanryongsan gave me this wide open view of surrounding hills and distant villages—honestly made me feel like I’d unlocked a hidden part of Korea. Wrapped it up with a convenience store feast at the bottom (because priorities). If you’re in Gyeongsangnam-do and want a two-in-one nature fix, this duo is perfect.
