Revisiting Shenxian Lake

🚩 Shenxian Lake -- This is an old mining area in Yuanhua. To protect the limited mountain resources, the area has been restored mainly through natural ecological restoration and supplemented by artificial restoration since 2012. The deeper mining areas have been restored through water storage. -- The lake covers an area of 1,120 mu and has a water storage capacity of 28.8 million cubic meters, which is twice the water storage capacity of West Lake. Yuanhua Town is the hometown of Jin Yong. During the ecological restoration of Shenxian Lake, great importance was attached to the integration of cultural elements. The historical and cultural heritage around Shenxian Lake was explored in depth, and the Jin Yong's Former Residence themed on "Immortal Lovers" and "Jin Yong's Martial Arts World + Ink and Wash Countryside" and the Chenghuang Mountain Group themed on "Yuanhua Ancient Town" were planned to echo each other. The characteristic routes were connected to form the "Jin Yong's 100th Birthday Series of Activities" to create a new image of Jin Yong's hometown and promote the "Drunken Beauty Jianghu"~ Shenxian Lake has been reopened to the public after recent restoration. -- Regular trails, fences (for the convenience and safety of visitors), and camping areas have been added. -- The visitor center and regular toilets are still under construction. -- 🅿 There are still few parking lots, and the surrounding roads are full of cars, making parking and travel inconvenient.
