Austria 🇦🇹 Hallstatt | Postcards from Heaven

🚝Transportation: [Train] I took the train from Vienna to Hallstatt. I recommend taking the morning train without transfers (about 3 hours, arriving in Hallstatt at 12 noon). It is recommended to sit on the left side. After entering the Austrian mountains, the scenery along the way is particularly good. [Ferry] Take a ferry from the pier next to Hallstatt train station to the town of Hallstatt for 7 Euros round trip (7 minutes one way, one ferry every half hour, the last return ferry at 18:15, remember to check the timetable in advance) The ferry ticket only accepts cash! 📌Route planning: 1️⃣Town Center: To the left of the pier is the town center, which is expensive and has restaurants. There are a lot of souvenir shops. The houses in the town center are colorful, and there are many people around, so it is very lively. (Figure 6) 2️⃣Hallstattersee Schifffahrt GmbH: A good place to take photos by the lake, with many ducks and swans. Use Google Navigation to find this location. Just keep walking along the path and you will see it. (Figure 2) 3️⃣ Postcard Observation Deck: There are many people taking photos, but everyone is very Order will line up. It is recommended to take photos at sunset or in the morning when the light is best.
