Step into the Yijin City of Lin'an, the burial ground of King Qian Liu

Yijin City of Lin'an was the military governance site of the Yijin Army, one of the 'one army and thirteen states' under the rule of the Wuyue Kingdom. It was where Qian Liu stationed his troops and was buried, integrating military governance, family residence, and ancestral temple into one. Yijin City was founded in 889 AD, covering an area of about 0.47 square kilometers. It was the first city built by King Qian Liu. Qian Liu was known for 'wearing brocade clothes' and 'displaying banners and flags.' He hosted banquets for the elders of his hometown with golden and jade goblets and personally wrote the 'Song of Returning Home,' showing his deep love for his hometown. In the fourth year of Tianyou (907 AD), Yijin City was promoted to the Yijin Army. After the Wuyue Kingdom submitted to the Song Dynasty, in the fourth year of Taiping Xingguo (979 AD), the Yijin Army was renamed to Shunhua Army. The following year it was abolished, and the name of Lin'an County was restored. 'Army' is similar to a county-level administrative region, mainly encompassing the original Lin'an County (excluding Yuqian and Changhua).
