Tianmu Mountain Big Tree King Scenic Area📍 is located in Tianmu Mountain Scenic Area, Tianmu Mountain Village, Tianmu Mountain Town, Lin'an District, Hangzhou City. It is located in the West Tianmu Mountain⛰️ and is famous for its "big tree canopy". It has a rare large Cryptomeria fortunei community in the world🌲. This group of Cryptomeria fortunei mainly grows in the Big Tree King Scenic Area. It is like a green screen that stands tall from sky to earth, and like a green canopy, it is a cool summer resort. Among the Cryptomeria fortunei in the scenic area, there are more than 500 trees over 500 years old, which are concentrated in the area from Wuliting to Kaishan Laodian. Among them, the most famous one is the "Big Tree King" named by Emperor Qianlong himself. It is more than 2,000 years old and has a diameter of more than 2 meters. Unfortunately, due to human destruction and environmental influences, the "Big Tree King" died in the 1930s. However, although it has been dead for more than 70 years, the Big Tree King still stands proudly, and a new green branch has grown on the dead trunk. The No. 141 Cryptomeria fortunei🌲 on the upper right of the "Big Tree King" has been recognized by everyone as the new Big Tree King of Tianmu Mountain.
