2025 West Lake Flower Viewing Guide: Tulips at Prince Bay

It's almost time for the tulips at Prince Bay, West Lake, to bloom again. This is a grand annual flower viewing festival in Hangzhou's West Lake. Please accept this flower viewing guide. 💐Location: Prince Bay Park 🌷Flowers to admire: Tulips, February orchids, cherry blossoms, etc. 📅Flower viewing period: Tulip Exhibition (March 8–April 14) Generally, the peak blooming period is in mid-March, but some early-flowering varieties will bloom in early March. Although there won't be a sea of flowers if you go early, you can still enjoy some early bloomers. 📝Visitor's Guide This year's Tulip Exhibition will continue to require reservations, which are free. You can make reservations one day in advance through the official "West Lake at Your Fingertips" app, the West Lake Tourism website, and other channels. 🧭Entrance and Exit Guide Prince Bay has four entrances and exits. During the Tulip Exhibition, the main entrance (north gate) is for entry only, the east and middle gates are for exit only, and the west gate allows both entry and exit. 🅿️Parking Suggestions Parking spaces around Prince Bay Park are extremely limited during the flower exhibition. Only those who arrive very early will be able to find a parking space. The parking lot at the north gate will be closed to the public during the flower exhibition. It is recommended to take a taxi or use public transportation. ⚠️Important Notes Be sure to arrive early in the morning. There are fewer people between 6–8 am, and the morning light is beautiful.
