🌿Qingshan Lake, an Underrated Fairyland🌲 I thought the West Lake was beautiful enough until I stepped into this matcha-colored lake in Hangzhou🌿. It's like stepping into a fairytale version of the Emerald City🍃. 🌊Qingshan Lake is so beautiful that it feels unreal. It can instantly take you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing you to enjoy the moment in peace. 🕗Opening hours: 8:00–17:00 (last entry at 16:30) 🗺️Transportation: 🚗Self-driving: From Hangzhou, navigate to "Qingshan Lake Forest on Water" or "Qingshan Lake Forest Park", about 1 hour. 🚇Subway: Take subway Line 16 to Qingshan Lake Station, Exit D, and you can reach the lake in about five minutes. 🚙Taxi: A taxi from downtown Hangzhou costs about CNY 100. 🅿️Parking: Navigate to Parking Lot No. 3 of Qingshan Lake, CNY 5/hr 🎫Tickets: Qingshan Lake: Free (greenway around the lake) Forest Park on Water: CNY 40/person, CNY 20 for children and university students Sightseeing bicycle/electric car: Scan the QR code. Suitable for tourists who do not like long walks and can quickly reach the lake and photo spots. 🚣Kayaking: Single kayak: CNY 120/1 hr, CNY 220/2 hrs Double kayak: CNY 220/1 hr, CNY 320/2 hrs ✨Tips: ① Black and white solid colors are great for photos. ② You can take photos from top to bottom, or take panoramic shots. You can also squat down and shoot from above! This way, the background will be matcha green! ③ The light is soft and the atmosphere is full from 8:00–10:00 am or 3:00–5:00 pm. ④ You can take photos of black swans at the entrance and exit of the Forest Park on Water. There are no railings on the waterfront platform, so you can sit down and take photos from above. The corner of the elevated boardwalk to the waterfront platform is also great for photos.
