Hangzhou Free and Easy Tour

Actually, our itinerary wasn't very well planned - most activities were decided spontaneously. After returning, I summarized our travel route. There were still many places we didn't have time to visit, which we'll make up for next time. Day 1 Arrived at Hangzhou East Station and dropped luggage at the hotel (I chose the Atour X Hotel on Yan'an Road near Wulin Square by West Lake - excellent service as they allowed early check-in in the morning). Visited attractions around West Lake: Hangzhou Botanical Garden → Breeze-ruffled Lotus at Quyuan Garden → Yuewang Temple → Xiling Seal Engravers' Society Day 2 Took a rowing boat near Xiling Bridge → Mid-Lake Pavilion. After returning, took a painted pleasure boat → Three Pools Mirroring the Moon → Su Causeway → Leifeng Pagoda. In the evening: West Lake Musical Fountain (we went but couldn't see it as it was canceled due to weather) → Night tour of West Lake (Musical Fountain → Qiantang Ruins → Bai Causeway → Broken Bridge → Autumn Moon on Calm Lake). Note: Not recommended for those who can't walk much - I got blisters after this route. Day 3 Feilai Peak → Lingyin Temple. With remaining time, took the sightseeing bus from West Lake to the next stop after Leifeng Pagoda (seems to be called South Su Causeway), then walked to Prince Bay Park. Trip concluded. Our itinerary might not be perfect, but West Lake's scenery is truly beautiful. Especially on rainy days - the misty rain makes it look like an ink painting. They say "a sunny West Lake can't compare to a rainy West Lake," and this trip really proved that saying right.
