#AbsolutelyFreeTrip The Yuewang Temple in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, was built in 1221 and is the tomb of Yue Fei, a famous general of the Northern Song Dynasty. Yue Fei attempted to recapture the lands of Jiangnan that had been seized by the Jin of the Jurchens, but was framed by a conspiracy by Qin Hui, who surrendered, and was imprisoned on a false charge and poisoned to death before he could achieve his goal. However, he was later exonerated and enshrined here as a national hero. The tombstones of Yue Fei and his son can be found on the premises.
