Hangzhou Qiushui Villa has always been the best hotel to stay in my heart~

This is my second time staying at Hangzhou Qiushui Villa. The first time was right after its opening—my husband booked it for our wedding anniversary trip to Hangzhou, knowing my love for historic architecture conversions. It was full of delightful surprises back then, and this second stay still feels just as wonderful! 🏨 Qiushui Villa carries a rich history and legend. Built in the 1930s by newspaper magnate Shi Liangcai for his beloved wife Shen Qiushui, hence the name "Qiushui Villa," the building hides a touching love story behind its walls. After decades of change, it has been transformed into the exquisite hotel it is today. The exterior retains the original charm of the old architecture, while the interior has been elegantly renovated, blending refined Jiangnan-style Chinese aesthetics with the chic flair of the Republic of China era. The furniture, decor, and amenities are all high-end custom pieces, immersing guests in the graceful allure of old Hangzhou the moment they step into the room. The bedding is luxurious and tasteful, and the toiletries are premium brands with delightful fragrances! The rooms are spacious, with windows offering stunning views of West Lake. The amenities are comprehensive, and the 24-hour butler service is attentive, thoughtful, and highly responsible. Located on Beishan Street by West Lake—my favorite street in Hangzhou, lined with historic buildings and villas full of character—the villa is just a short walk from the lake. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful, ensuring a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. Strolling along Beishan Street in the morning or evening is pure bliss! Thanks to its proximity to West Lake, the air is fresh, and the villa even features a beautiful pool facing the lake, with crystal-clear water. Breakfast is served at the nearby Xinxin Hotel, where the ambiance is lovely, the variety is abundant, and the service is excellent—truly satisfying! Having visited Hangzhou many times and stayed in numerous hotels, I still find Qiushui Villa the most charming and comfortable. The only downside is the price—it's so expensive that I can only afford to stay occasionally, not regularly! Hahaha! I hope to have the chance to return someday!
