Route: Start from Fangheyuan Bridge stream—walk about 500m to the road—enter Tianmu Ancient Trail then back to the stream—after 3km ascend to the ancient trail—exit at Fangheyuan Village entrance. Tips: Drive and navigate to Yanghong Shuangxikou Fangheyuan Homestay. Parking is available inside the village—first come, first served. Along Tianmu Ancient Trail by the stream, about 2km in, there's a deep pool perfect for cliff jumping and water play. Further up are two rope-assisted climbs. If crowded with beginner-level tourists, expect delays—especially at the second climb where the pool is deeper, posing risks of being pulled under. Recommended to end at the 2km jumping spot—enjoy the leap, swim, then return via the ancient trail. Life jackets and helmets can be rented in the village for team rates at ¥10; showers post-trek cost ¥10 per person. Trekking upstream, the highlight is the ~2m-deep jumping pool around the 2km mark. Leaping, swimming, splashing... each activity feels like a cool summer breeze. The undeveloped ancient trail along the valley remains narrow—hike with caution.
