Hoan Kiem Lake...Hanoi

The most famous lake among them is Hoan Kiem Lake (Ho Hoan Kiem: Sword Return Lake). Hoan Kiem Lake is located in the center of Hanoi, with beautiful French-style buildings lined up in the south and diplomatic missions, and a market in the north. The lake is 700m long and 200m wide. It is named after the legend that Le Loi, the founder of the Later Le Dynasty, found a famous sword in this lake and defeated the Ming army, then returned it to the lake. Hoan Kiem means 'Sword Return Lake'.
