A must-see attraction in Hanoi—Tran Vu Temple

Hanoi Zhenwu Temple, also known as Turtle Saint Temple, is located on the southeast bank of West Lake in the northern part of the city. A huge bronze statue of Zhenwu Emperor (Xuantian Emperor) is enshrined in Zhenwu Temple. It was cast in 1677 and is a god worshipped by Taoism. Zhenwu Temple was first built during the Li Dynasty in the 11th century. It is currently one of the three major scenic spots in Thang Long (Hanoi) and the largest Taoist temple in Hanoi.
