Ma'ershan Mountain, Heqing: A Sea of Flowers

Ma'ershan Mountain, Heqing, is located in southwestern China. It is the eastern branch of the Yunling Mountains, an important mountain range, and a key mountain system in the southern extension of the Hengduan Mountains. It is located at the junction of Heqing, Eryuan, and Jianchuan counties. The mountain is steep and towering, with layers of peaks stretching nearly 50 km from north to south. It is the highest peak in Heqing and an important geographical landmark in northwestern Yunnan. Ma'ershan Mountain has a maximum altitude of 3,925 meters and is named after its main peak, which resembles the ears of a horse. At an altitude of more than 3,000 meters, there is a dense rhododendron forest stretching for more than 10 km. In late spring and early summer, the flowers bloom in full swing, covering the mountains and hills. From a distance, it looks like a colorful carpet falling from the sky. Up close, the ancient trees are towering, and the flowers are clustered together, competing for beauty. Ma'ershan Mountain is picturesque all year round, with each season having its own charm, attracting a large number of tourists to visit and enjoy.
