5 million spider lilies @Kinchakuda, Saitama

Manjushage is another name for the red flower "Higanbana" that blooms during the autumn equinox. Around 5 million manjushage (red spider lilies) bloom in Kinchakuda, Hidaka City, Saitama Prefecture every year from mid-September to early October. Deep red manjushage spreads out like a red carpet in the woods surrounded by the meandering Komagawa River. During the period when the manjushage blooms, there is a fee of 500 yen to enter the area where the manjushage grows. #trip2023
